Hello and welcome.

My name is Kelly. I have always loved making art and exploring different styles and mediums. For the last few years, I have immersed myself in textured petal art, creating some of my most brightest artworks to date. Recently, I have moved onto graphite and charcoal drawings and turning my play with alcohol inks into bookmarks. I have also begun exploring painting with gouache and watercolour, and have started a new series of paintings which all centre around looking out from a window onto beautiful fantasy scenery.

On my website you will find my textured petal art that come in a wide range of colours, from soft hues to rich vibrant tones that really stand out. I have enjoyed bringing different elements together to create these pieces including acrylics, texture paste, and alcohol inks. You can also find my latest drawings, a mix of fantasy with semi-realism. Some are in graphite and charcoal  and others are a mix of graphite and charcoal with other elements including panpastels and metallic watercolours. I love the juxtaposition between the soft serene greys of the drawing and the pops of colour.

I love books and can happily spend hours wandering the isles of a bookstore looking for my next adventure through the pages despite my ever growing TBR (to be read) pile. This is why I love making bookmarks, though I often end up keeping a lot of them for myself. I love to read and find comfort in the mere presence of my books around me.

I live in England with my husband and three children. I absolutely love winter and all the cosy snug vibes that come with it. When I am not making art, I can be found reading a book by candlelight with a blanket draped over my lap, even more so when the rain is falling outside. I also enjoy going for walks, especially in the autumn and winter time and I am kept very busy with my family.
